John joined the Glendarin Staff in 2001. He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Plant and Soil Science with a specialization in Turfgrass. John has been a member of the GCSAA since 1995. His previous experience includes: Scovill Golf Club in Decatur, IL, and Fort Wayne Country Club. John is married to Melissa and proudly has five children (Emma, Charlie, Jack, Betsy, Henry). During his time off John enjoys to spend time with his family and cooking.
Marty Harris, Assistant Superintendent
Marty joined the Glendarin Staff in the fall of 2000 during the initial phrase of construction. He graduated Illinois State University with an Accounting degree, then attended ASU for agronomy. His previous experience includes: Edina Country Club in Minnesota, and several courses in Arizona including Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale. Marty is married to wife, Taryn, who is a local business owner and their family includes two children (Austin and Olyvia).
John Potts, Food and Beverage Director
John joined the staff in 2011. His previous experience includes: 8 years Management of Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar, 4 years serving as a GM. He was a culinary arts student at Ivy Tech where he then pursued a career of management in the hospitality field. He prides himself on offering an affordable and selective menu without sacrificing quality.
